Yap\u0131lan bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda, egzersiz yapan gruplar ile yapmayanlar kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Sonu\u00e7lara g\u00f6re, egzersiz yapan ki\u015filerin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel g\u00f6revlerde di\u011ferlerine g\u00f6re daha iyi performans g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca orta ve ileri derecede fiziksel aktivitenin, daha d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck Alzheimer ve di\u011fer bunama t\u00fcrleri riski ile ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu bulunmu\u015ftur. D\u00f6rt grup insan \u00fczerinde yap\u0131lan bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada; bir aerobik e\u011fitim grubu (2 ay boyunca haftada 2 saat ko\u015fu ya da y\u00fcr\u00fcme); bir haf\u0131za e\u011fitimi grubu (2 ay boyunca haftada 90 dakika s\u00fcren bir seans); kombine aerobik ve mental e\u011fitim grubu ve bir de kontrol grubu (e\u011fitim olmayan) sonu\u00e7lara g\u00f6re, kontrol grubuna k\u0131yasla 3 grupta da haf\u0131za performans\u0131 artt\u0131. Kombine grupta, di\u011fer iki gruba g\u00f6re daha fazla geli\u015fme kaydedildi. Bu sonuca g\u00f6re, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel e\u011fitim ve fitness e\u011fitimi birbirinin etkisini art\u0131rmaktad\u0131r.
